The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements of this position. Principal accountabilities: Assist construction site workers in erecting structures. Unload and load construction materials. Distribute materials. Erect concrete forms and scaffolding. Mix and pour concrete and mortar. Level concrete and earth using trowels and shovels. Remove debris. Direct and control traffic. Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment. Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance. Oil and grease hoists. Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers Requirements: Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Required: None. Preferred: Two (2) or more years in the construction industry as a laborer or other construction trade role.
