This role is to ensure a secure premise, employee safety and security, and to provide supervision of the maintenance and readiness of NTC property. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8:30 - 5:00. Once employees are out of their initial training period, we offer a flexible schedule, which allows you to arrive any time between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, and leave between 3:30 and 5:30 PM. This is an exempt salary role, which may require additional hours in the evenings/weekends as needed.-- - This position will also handle alarms that may go off in the middle of the night. The salary for this position will be based upon experience.-- - Duties include but are not limited to the following: Manages Facilities, Transportation, Employee Safety and Security Sections. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints; coordinating with HR as needed regarding personnel or any issues to resolve problems. Facilities and Transportation Oversees scheduled maintenance, repair, and cleaning of buildings, grounds, office equipment, or associated systems and equipment. Including the oversight and relationship with vendors. Conducts space planning or modifies building/equipment layouts in response to changing organizational needs. Plans and oversees physical moves. Ensures all sites meet or exceed OSHA safety standards Responsible for a variety of projects, including management of resource allocation and project dependencies Security Oversees security programs concerned with protecting the organization's employees, properties, facilities, and physical assets Implements and administers security programs that control access to the organization's facilities or assets. Identifies and implements business continuity responsibilities within crisis and emergency management Implement programs to mitigate risk, safeguard the organization's employees, intellectual property, integrity, reputation, and physical assets Skills and Requirements: Eight years' experience in facility management with at least 3 years at the level of Facility Manager overseeing a team Multi-site management experience preferred Experience in leasing, construction, engineering, and all facets of property operation and building management Experience with human resource and performance management processes Experience with critical system environments preferred Interact comfortably and positively with staff, vendors, and upper management. Ability to solve personnel problems effectively and quickly through documentation and in coordination with Employee Relations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Customer service driven. Must be able to understand and communicate local fire and building code. Must be able to understand and communicate OSHA guideline's and ensure all policies are met. Ability to work with and protect confidential information. Must be able to travel as needed. Required to work additional hours outside of the regular work schedule as needed. Job Requirements:NTC offers the following benefits: Insurance after 60 days of employment (Health, Dental, Vision, & Life) 7 Paid Holidays after 90 days 401(k) after 6 months with partial company matching Company Paid Life Insurance Paid time off (PTO) begins accruing on the first day of employment, and is available for use after the 90 day employment anniversary. PTO days are accrued as follows:-- --- --- --- --- --- --- - Your first and second year you will accrue 10 days per year. Each year between the 3rd and 9th you will accrue 15 days per year. Each year between the 10th and 19th you will accrue 20 days per year. And from 20 years onward you will accrue 25 days per year.
