Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with Mortgage Monitoring Leadership Team to develop transformation plan for monitoring of controls for mortgage origination and mortgage servicing businesses. Ensure that transformation plan is aligned to USPB monitoring strategy and incorporates all commitments made to the Board, Regulators, and Lines of Defense.- Assess resources (people, technology hours, dollars) required to complete execution of the transformation plan within the committed timeline. Engage with USPB Monitoring and Mortgage Business Leadership Teams to secure availability of said resources as needed.- Engage Cenlar Leadership Team to discuss dependencies on processes executed / to be executed by Cenlar and secure their support as required to ensure execution of the transformation plan within the committed timeline. Partner with Mortgage Servicing Business Leadership and Relationship Management to ensure alignment across initiatives.- Coordinate execution of transformation plan. Design and facilitate governance structure(s) to ensure effective tracking of progress and identification of risks to completion of the transformation plan within the committed timeline. Develop solutions to risks and secure support required to effective mitigation.- Expand to cover additional initiatives that will focus on other areas of monitoring beyond Morgage- Partner with Third Party Risk Oversight Utility to design and deploy enhanced strategy for controls over critical third parties responsible for executing extensive set of processes that expose USPB to significant compliance risk, starting with Cenlar. Ensure that solution is aligned with transformation plan.- Design and produce regular reporting (including but not limited to weekly progress tracker and monthly program report) for communication to critical internal and external stakeholders. Partner with Mortgage Monitoring Leadership Team and USPB Monitoring Head to deliver progress reports as required.- Ensure compliance with Citi Project Management policy and Citi Issue Management policy throughout the execution of the transformation plan. Develop required artifacts and drive engagement with HPI Team and Lines of Defense in order to ensure that all corrective action plans embedded in the transformation plan are resolved within the committed timeline.- Participate to USPB Monitoring Operating Council as permanent member, contributing to the development of the operating plan and the ongoing management of the USPB Monitoring Center of Excellence. Provide thought leadership and support to critical initiatives based on specific area(s) of expertise. - - -KEY REQUIREMENTS- In-depth knowledge of core processes within Citi mortgage origination and servicing businesses.- Broad knowledge of core processes within Citi personal banking businesses- Knowledge of key regulatory obligations and internal policies applicable to mortgage businesses.- Process (re)engineering experience is preferable though not required.- Proven track record of driving complex transformation initiatives, involving process owners and lines of defense.- Project management certification or extensive experience with leading projects in compliance with Citi policy.- Strong presentation skills and executive presence, comfortable communicating at different levels of seniority.- Strategic thinking, accompanied by strong attention to detail and ability to engage in granular topics as required.- Ability to secure support though influence and drive multiple groups of individuals without formal reporting lines.- Flexible, adaptable to changing environment, and comfortable working under pressure / against tight timelines.IMMEDIATE AREAS OF FOCUS

• Remediation of Monitoring MRA #2 (business closure 3/31/23)
• Establishment of Call Monitoring for Mortgage Servicing (business closure 3/31/23, accelerated plan 12/31/22)
• Transition Origination / Operations Call Monitoring into Monitoring COE
• Redesign of monitoring for Mortgage Servicing (-1,200 monitoring activities), including automation
• Potential partnership with Surveillance Company to complement / provide challenger to monitoring
