What you bring to our team:
- - - - - - - - Active Florida CNA license
- - - - - - - - New Graduates: - Must take and pass the CNA license exam within 120 days of employment to remain an employee of Orchid Cove at Palm Harbor
- - - - - - - - -Current/active CPR certification preferred
- - - - - - - - Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- - - - - - - - Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- - - - - - - - Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- - - - - - - - Problem solving skills
- - - - - - - - Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change
As a CNA, you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:
- - - - - - - - Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents
- - - - - - - - Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics
- - - - - - - - Routinely turn and position residents as necessary
- - - - - - - - Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse
- - - - - - - - Participate in collecting accurate date on residents to include vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned
- - - - - - - - Other duties as assigned
