(Physician/MD qualifications required) Pediatrics - Pediatrician Palm Harbor, FL (20 min N of Clearwater)

We are looking for a Pediatrician to join our pediatric practice full time in Palm Harbor, FL. Our state-of-the-art offices are in Palm Harbor and Trinity, FL- on the beautiful gulf coast of FL, close to Tampa and Clearwater.

We are seeking a personable, compassionate Board-Certified pediatrician who can multitask and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our growing practice. We have 3 locations with 5 Board-Certified pediatricians and 5 nurse practitioners. The incoming physician would be scheduled to rotate through each office and should be able to engage with the patients and their families and easily create a rapport that fosters a healthy doctor-patient relationship to promote an optimal healing environment. The weekly schedule will include rounding on our normal newborns in the local hospital approximately one morning a week and approximately one weekend per month. Our office is open Monday through Friday with no weekend hours. There is a Level III NICU with 24-7-365 Neonatology coverage for C-section deliveries and newborns requiring acute care. Overnight call occurs approximately one night per week and consists of taking calls from doctors and hospitals. The physician will also back up an APRN who will take primary call for patient calls. Weekend call coincides with the weekend rounding responsibilities and the physician would be responsible for doctor and hospital calls and have the option to back up an APRN who would take patient calls.


Requirements:
BCBE Pediatrician
License to Practice in FL
Schedule:
5-day work week (M-F)
No weekend office hours
Rounding on our normal newborns in the local hospital approximately one morning a week and approximately one weekend per month

Total Compensation:
$171k per year plus
