Summary and Qualifications Nuclear Medical Technologist Our Nuclear
Medicine teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We
are currently reviewing applications for a Florida-licensed Nuclear
Medicine Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a
Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic
technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful,
compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If

opportunity. Apply today! Your tasks and responsibilities as a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist include but are not limited to: Use
radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans Prepare
radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance
with physicians' orders; Administer and record dosages as well
Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or
scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce
image of organ on photographic film Position patients and adjust
immobilization devices Compassionately explain procedures to
patients and addresses concerns Monitor, record and communicate
utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH) Assist with
transporting patients Qualifications Graduate of an accredited and
AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program
Clear/Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Valid
CNMT through NMTCB Current Basic Life Support certification Recent
experience as a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending,
reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or
equipment up to 50 lbs HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a 350-bed
