Petersburg, Florida, 33705! Job Title: LTAC/Telemetry Registered
Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 1 year required. Two to 5 years preferred.
License: Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license required.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications required. Must-Have: -
Vent/trach experience. - Knowledge of central lines. - Preferred
wound care experience. Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered
Nurse is accountable for providing care to patients. The nursing
process is utilized in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act
and hospital policies. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical
thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership. Anticipation
and planning for safe delivery of care are essential
responsibilities. Maintaining clinical competencies through
continuing education is required. Delegation of patient care
priorities commensurate with the education and experience of staff
is expected. The Registered Nurse provides direction and
supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. 5
