Job Description Job Description Job Title: Medical Technician Location: Englewood, FL Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Schedule Night Shift (Rotating Weekends) Compensation $22.39/hour – Entry range $26.86/hour – Mid-range $31.34/hour – Experienced range Organization Overview A large, multi-state healthcare laboratory services organization is seeking a Medical Technician to support hospital-based laboratory operations in Englewood, Florida. The organization provides comprehensive clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services, delivering timely and accurate diagnostic information to hospitals, physicians, and healthcare partners. The laboratory network includes: A fully automated esoteric core laboratory Centralized histology and microbiology operations Hospital-based rapid-response laboratories across multiple regions Support for acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, physician practices, and ambulatory surgery centers Laboratory professionals at this hospital play a critical role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment through accurate, efficient, and reliable testing services. Position Summary The Medical Technician performs accurate and timely laboratory testing in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, independent judgment, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards to ensure reliable patient results.
