Job Description:
HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound
Technologist to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional
medical care with a personal touch. As part of our imaging and
radiology department, the Ultrasound Technologist will utilize
state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality diagnostic
images that aid in patient diagnosis and management. This role
requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in sonographic
technology, and the ability to provide compassionate care to our
diverse patient population. Perform diagnostic procedures using
sonographic equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. Prepare
patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort
and addressing any concerns. Analyze findings and record results
for review by physicians. Maintain patient records and adjust
equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Collaborate with
healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. Assist in
the maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
Participate in continuous education to stay updated on industry
practices and technological advancements. Proficiency with a wide
range of ultrasound imaging equipment. Strong understanding of
cross-sectional anatomy. Ability to communicate effectively with
patients and healthcare staff. Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work
under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.
