Summary and Qualifications This full-time Ultrasound Technologist
role will support our free-standing ER department. At HCA West
Florida, we are committed to creating a world-class experience for
each patient. As part of our team, you will work alongside a
dedicated group of professionals truly making a difference in the
health and lives of the people of West Florida. We are currently
seeking an Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS). As an Ultrasound
Technologist on our team, you will provide ultrasound services to
patients as ordered by physicians. You will also follow established
standards and practices under the direction of a Radiologist. If

tasks and responsibilities include: Use specialized equipment to
create images (sonograms) of structures inside the human body
Analyze technical information Use independent judgment in
recognizing the need to extend the scope of the procedure according
to the diagnostic findings Provide a written summary of the
technical findings to the physician for medical diagnosis Obtain
and record an accurate patient history Provide high-quality patient
care Display excellent communication skills Collaborate with
physicians and other caregivers in a spirit of teamwork Maintain
appropriate education and development Qualifications: Graduate of
an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program Valid RDMS RVT
within 6 months of board eligibility Current Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification Ability to perform work that requires frequent
standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting
of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. Computer skills HCA
