We are looking for an IT Technical Writer for our office in Palm Harbor. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Once employees are out of their initial training period, we offer a flexible schedule which allows you to arrive any time between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, and leave between 3:30 and 5:30 PM. Summary of the position:--The role of the Technical Writer is to produce high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience by working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements. The Writer will write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirementsProduce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audienceWrite easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guidesCreate tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applicationsAnalyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunitiesCreate and maintain the information architectureJob Requirements:Additional Skills and Requirements:Proven working experience in process writing of software documentationAbility to deliver high quality process documentation paying attention to detailAbility to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and processes to make them easily understandable in text and picturesExcellent written skills in EnglishStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeBasic familiarity with the SDLC and software developmentNTC offers the following benefits:Insurance after 60 days of employment (Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Supplemental)7 Paid Holidays after 90 daysPossibility of partial work from home opportunities after 90 day probationary period401K after 6 months with partial matchingCompany Paid Life InsurancePTO and sick days begin accruing on the first day of employment, and are available for use after the 90 day employment anniversary.
