We are a boutique plaintiffs' firm with three litigation attorneys, and growing, located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Our professional focus is medical malpractice and personal injury. Our firm strives to foster highly motivated team players in order to stay proactive, add the utmost value, service and autonomy to each other and most importantly, our clients and protentional clients. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience preparing cases for trial and taking cases to trial when necessary. 5 years of trial/litigation experience is preferred This hire will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable: * conducting research * data entry * scheduling * maintaining, requesting and organizing case files * speaking with clients, experts and various other professionals * multitasking to complete other ad-hoc requests, as needed. *Responsibilities* * Litigation/Trial Preparation * Legal fact and basic legal research * Assist with case management * Organize and electronically file pleadings * Coordinate and schedule calendars *Qualifications* * 3+ years' as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: * Opportunities for advancement * Paid time off * Work from home Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday COVID-19 considerations: yes Ability to commute/relocate: * Palm Harbor, FL 34683: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Litigation: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Palm Harbor, FL 34683
