The Opportunity: As a Business Analyst, you will grow vendor relationships, analyze processes, and elicit requirements from business and IT users. You will be an important member of an Application Development scrum team focusing on securities and performance, using your product and vendor management skills to support all application needs. You will contribute to modernization efforts across Technology with high partner visibility and exposure to many lines of business. You will report to an Application Development Team Leader. The Day-to-Day: Strategically create the product roadmap for the business' security master and performance measurement software; assess the suitability of the applications, helping prioritize the backlog of product enhancements, and providing direction to our software vendor(s) and IT to ensure the application meets all business goals Partner with business users to develop an understanding of their processes, identify their performance reporting needs, and evaluate suggested projects Work with the business and use knowledge of application features to provide solutions that meet end users' requirements and to resolve questions related to process changes affecting your assigned products Provide ongoing system support; including troubleshooting performance data issues and re-running performance calculations as needed Participate in a full range of multi-year, multi-million dollar efforts involving replacement of primary business systems Maintain documentation of assigned product(s) Partner with business users to develop an understanding of their processes, identify their performance reporting needs, and evaluate suggested projects Use design skills to establish functional specifications for complex and high impact projects Develop and document both business and functional requirements through requirement gathering sessions, business process mapping, and process analysis Gain and maintain knowledge of Fisher Investments' systems architecture Research external software solutions Identify ways to improve processes by recommending items for automation, re-structuring, or elimination Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Math, or other Science field required 5+ years of experience supporting software programs Portfolio Management experience around Securities, Benchmarks, and Performance. Eagle experience a plus Experience serving as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in a software application development organization Experience with enterprise application development Strong SQL skills to organize and analyze data efficiently Why Fisher Investments: At Fisher Investments, we work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
