Job Description Job Description Part-Time Loan Operations Specialist (Contract) Orlando, FL 32826 – Onsite Part-Time | 20 hours/week Contract Length: 8 weeks Pay: Up to $25/hour About the Role We are partnering with a local credit union seeking a detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to support their lending team on a short-term project. This part-time, onsite role will focus on loan documentation, payoff processing, insurance verification, and file maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone with banking, credit union, or loan servicing experience who enjoys working with documentation and ensuring accuracy in loan records. Schedule Tuesday – Friday 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM 20 hours per week 8-week assignment Key Responsibilities Prepare and process loan payoff quotes for members and internal teams Conduct homeowners insurance (HOI) policy research and prepare documentation needed for loan payoffs Perform quality control and retrieval of loan notes and documentation Scan, organize, and file loan documents to maintain accurate electronic records Handle mailing and distribution of loan documents and correspondence Assist with light loan servicing and account maintenance tasks Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with internal policies Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, banking, or credit union operations preferred Experience handling loan documentation, payoff quotes, or insurance verification is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with document management systems and Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Experience working in a credit union, bank, or mortgage servicing environment Familiarity with loan systems such as Symitar/Episys, MeridianLink, or similar platforms is a plus Why Apply?
